MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Bowdon, GA Service Jobs Full Time, Day/Evening with weekends/OT as needed Req # 39101 To provide safe & aesthetically pleasing facilities for clients & staff by maintaining buildings through good repair, by means of a Work Order system, Preventative Maintenance system, & by meeting the needs of the staff. To make alterations to buildings through remodeling and/or new construction to meet the requirements of KidsPeace.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited trade school or a minimum two years experience in a maintenance environment. Basic knowledge of all building trades. Valid GA or AL state driver's license. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.

JOB DUTIES

Attend to basic plumbing needs (repairs to washers, faucets, toilets, sink clogs, etc.); basic electrical needs (repair dryers, switches, receptacles, lights, etc.); basic H.V.A.C. needs (change filters, thermostats, check units, etc.); and carpentry and painting needs. Troubleshoot maintenance problems; find and make any necessary repairs Assure a safe environment by being safety conscientious, having knowledge of safety standards and using good safety practices. Do work through the Preventative Maintenance and Work Order systems. Measure and order supplies. Use electrical power tools, hand tools, and portable electric or battery operated hand tools correctly. KidsPeace is the employer of choice in the mental and behavioral healthcare field.
