Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are upheld, and operational disruptions are minimized. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance installation, repair, and servicing across various systems including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) and kitchen equipment. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at different locations as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company procedures. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and uphold safety standards across all facilities. Skills Extensive experience in appliance repair and service technician roles with a solid understanding of HVAC & appliance technology. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for complex systems. Proven expertise in HVAC system repair, refrigeration maintenance, and air conditioning troubleshooting. Skilled in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems including kitchen equipment and construction-related machinery. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all transportation regulations. Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to maintenance planning and problem-solving.
