Maintenance Technician:
Set up and prepare production machinery for scheduled manufacturing runs Complete preventive maintenance to help reduce equipment downtime and maintain production schedules Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues Respond to unexpected equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to restore production Repair, rebuild, and maintain production and packaging machinery Use equipment manuals, work orders, and maintenance instructions to identify service and repair requirements Assist with general building and facility maintenance when needed Follow OSHA requirements, plant safety procedures, and required PPE guidelines Document maintenance activities and utilize preventive maintenance database systems
Skills and Experience:
What You'll Bring as a
Preferred Candidate:
High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or technical training preferred 2+ years of industrial maintenance, machine repair, or related hands-on experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience working with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Knowledge of production machinery, tools, equipment setup, repair, and preventive maintenance Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, work orders, and maintenance instructions Basic computer skills, including email and preventive maintenance software/database systems Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to assist with emergency or unscheduled equipment repairs as needed
