Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, and inspecting the building to confirm safety standards.

PM Essential Job Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Operation and Monitoring:
Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems and air compressors to ensure they are functioning correctly. Adjust controls and settings to maintain optimal performance and safety. Oversee the operation of wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, air compressors, and related equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in these systems. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow safety procedures and regulations related to ammonia refrigeration, air compressor systems, and wastewater treatment. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards for all systems. Monitor and manage chemical usage in wastewater treatment to meet regulatory requirements.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Document any incidents or issues and the steps taken to resolve them. Keep detailed logs of wastewater treatment processes, including chemical usage and test results.
Trouble Shooting:
Identify and troubleshoot problems with ammonia refrigeration, air compressor systems, and wastewater treatment systems. Implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues. Respond to emergencies and malfunctions in all systems promptly and effectively.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in all systems. Attention to

Accurate record-keeping and monitoring of equipment and processes. Dependable, reliable and punctual Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout shift Ability to use both hands in repetitive motions (simple/firm grasping) Must be able to comprehend, speak, read, and write basic English Ability to work at a fast pace, in a team-oriented environment Work in a refrigerated environment, 34 - 37 degrees consistently Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends and overtime when needed. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in refrigeration, HVAC systems, or wastewater treatment is often required. At least 2 years of Maintenance experience in a factory, or manufacturing environment. At least 2 years working with an ammonia refrigeration system (strongly preferred).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, air compressors, wastewater treatment processes, and related safety procedures.
