Machine Maintenance Technician Temp Experts Conley, GA Job Details Temp-to-hire 15 hours ago Qualifications Carpentry Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Machine Maintenance Technician Conley, GA Temp-to-Hire | First Shift TempExperts is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician for a thriving company in Conley, GA ! This employee will be responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Head Mechanic. •First Shift Schedule - must have weekend flexibility•This position requires 3+ years of recent repair experience, preferably on fixing heavy equipment, conveyor systems, hydraulic machinery.
Responsibilities will include:
Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines. Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts. Weld and use cutting torch. Perform general repairs to plant structures. Keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition. Test malfunctioning machinery to determine repairs and discuss with head mechanic for approval and repair. Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards. Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning or identify issues. Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma; GED or equivalent in training, education, or experience. Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent in training or experience. Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions. Mechanical aptitude and ability are essential. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, carpentry, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
Lift tools, machinery parts, and other objects weighing up to 80 pounds. intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching. Standing for extended periods of time. Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust, and dirt. TempExperts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
