Facilities Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

• Makes basic repairs to plumbing and electrical systems.
• Makes basic repairs to drywall, brick and stone work.
• Ensures that roofs, rain gutters and drains are well-maintained.
• Performs basic carpentry including, cabinet building, furniture and pew repair.
• Completes minor remodeling projects upon request.
• Completes light bulb changes, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides appropriate room set up when necessary.
• Keeps informed of the church calendar to ensure all room setups, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, repair, and remodeling work is completed accordingly.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Individuals must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

A minimum of three years related experience and/or training is also required.

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
