A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
Full-Time | Manufacturing Indorama Ventures Hygiene is looking for a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Covington, GA manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in keeping our equipment and facility running safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections Diagnose and repair basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Replace and repair components such as bearings, belts, motors, pumps, valves, and other equipment parts Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and improvement projects Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Document maintenance activities and completed repairs Work closely with Production and other Maintenance team members to keep operations running smoothly Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and company procedures What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment preferred Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to use common hand and power tools Ability to read basic equipment manuals, diagrams, and instructions Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Manufacturing experience is a plus!
