Job Description

Essential Responsibility:
This position requires the oversite of the daily Shipping Dock Operations. This individual must be able to complete all functions related to the Safe Handling and Security of Finished Goods and Pass-Through products to NAMI Customers. Controls Documentation by maintaining accurate shipping records and receiving paperwork. Ensures the accuracy of all documentation for Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) prior to submitting to SCM and Accounting. Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time. Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems. Upholds Standards of Quality, Cost, and Safety by following the Company's standards and guidelines. By immediately reporting any conditions that do not uphold the standards of quality, cost, and safety to the Supervisor or Management; and by making suggestions for necessary improvements to uphold these standards as necessary. Contributes to the Team Effort by consistently achieving individual goals in order to contribute to the achievement of departmental and Company goals; by being flexible in work assignments; by covering for other Staff as needed; by accomplishing related tasks when requested; by being open to feedback from peers, Supervisors, and Management; and by using the feedback to improve performance. Upholds Professionalism in the Workplace by maintaining professional conduct and appearance; by realizing one's own limitations and seeking assistance when needed; and by using established communication channels. Assist Manager and Supervisor with any other duties as assigned. Ensure all employees are following the correct procedures for the Final Packaging Process Standards. Assists in Maintaining the 5S apperance of the NAMI 1 and NAMI II facilities.
Education / Certifications
/ Experience High School Diploma or GED; and at least 3 years' experience in warehouse or inventory-related work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Shipping Orders, Packing Lists, Invoices and forms in English. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply basic business math. Reasoning Skills Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry-out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving Truck/Trailer/Container Loading Plans and Weight Limitations. Ability to analyze and use various Logistics and warehouse document control measure such as application of customer required barcodes and Dock Verification Procedures. Computer Skills Ability to use a computer and have basic Excel skills.

Other Skills Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures. Physical Demands /
Work Environment:
Ability to stand, sit, or walk, in office or field duties; A full range of motion to see, hear, touch, and to observe documents at the office or materials on the field; Ordinary vision and hearing for communication and observation; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
