Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, preferably installing windows and/or doors, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing windows and doors in residential properties, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes. Measure and cut materials accurately for installation. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations. Perform caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing to ensure energy efficiency. Hang doors with precision, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns during the installation process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in window/door installation or related carpentry work is preferred. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment necessary for installation tasks. Experience in trim carpentry and remodeling projects is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Must possess physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Other carpentry experience including dry wall, painting, etc. is advantageous.
