Maintenance Mechanic $22.15 hourly This position performs skilled work in major mechanical and minor electrical maintenance, adjustments, repair of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and all related equipment. Work involves operating combination vehicles and single and tandem axle automotive equipment or relatively simple mechanical attachments. May work independently or with other mechanics, laborers, and/or the plant or pump station operators during repair assignments. Qualified candidates should possess a High School diploma or General Equivalency diploma (GED), three (3) years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance and repair, as well as a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and valid State of Georgia Class "A" Commercial Drivers License (CDL). An employee in this position is required to be required to be on call on a rotating basis and reports to the Maintenance Mechanic Foreman.
