Full-Time Pay Range:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, functionality, and appearance of multiple healthcare facilities and grounds. This role performs preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep to ensure all properties remain compliant with applicable regulations and provide a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility buildings and grounds. Complete carpentry, painting, drywall, plaster, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance projects. Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and piping. Clear obstructions from water and sewer lines when necessary. Repair and maintain porches, stairs, decks, railings, trim, siding, windows, doors, and other structural components. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Complete inspection reports and recommend corrective actions. Operate and maintain maintenance equipment including: Power saws Drills Air compressors Pressure washers Paint sprayers Landscape equipment Hand and power tools Assist with facility renovations, remodeling projects, and property improvements. Coordinate maintenance activities with facility leadership and administration. Oversee and support groundskeeping efforts to maintain professional facility appearance. Move, transport, and dispose of furniture, equipment, and other materials as needed. Ensure all work complies with applicable safety regulations and facility standards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations. Maintain a professional and positive attitude with staff, clients, vendors, and guests. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to interact professionally with staff, clients, and vendors. Ability to remain calm and productive in stressful situations. Knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance best practices. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Compliance and Confidentiality Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and professional standards. Maintain strict confidentiality of client, employee, and company information. Protect all client information in accordance with HIPAA, federal regulations, and state laws. Serve as a positive representative of NANA Healthcare Management and its affiliated programs.
