Jefferson, GA Position Overview:
We're seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Gainesville, GA. We have opportunities across all shifts, offering competitive pay rates starting at $23 per hour and increasing based on experience, up to $35 per hour. A night shift differential of $3 per hour is also available. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repair:
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery, including motors, pumps, and conveyor systems. Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete repairs quickly and accurately.
Equipment Upgrades:
Assist with equipment modifications and upgrades to improve efficiency and safety. Work with the engineering team to implement new machinery and systems.
Documentation & Reporting:
Document all maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used. Maintain accurate records of equipment and repair history for future reference.
Safety Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operating within safety standards. Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Competencies:
Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
