Your expertise in stripping and waxing will ensure floors are beautifully polished, protected, and ready to impress. Duties Prepare floors by cleaning, stripping old wax, and ensuring surfaces are ready for waxing or polishing Apply high-quality wax coatings using appropriate tools and techniques to achieve a smooth, glossy finish. Buff floors in between waxing to prolong their gloss. Maintain equipment such as buffers, polishers, and cleaning supplies to ensure optimal performance Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear and recommend appropriate restorative treatments Follow safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Document completed work and communicate progress or issues to supervisors effectively Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in floor maintenance operations Proven experience in floor care, waxing, or related maintenance roles preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
