Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports production by responding to breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and completing mechanical and electrical repairs across the facility.
Job Duties:
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures on the production floorPerform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing maintenanceExecute preventive maintenance tasks thoroughly and safelyUtilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work ordersCollaborate with maintenance and production teams to share knowledge and drive improvementsMaintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholdersWork in environments with temperature variations and exposure to manufacturing materialsFrequently stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of electrical systems, conveyors, hydraulics, HVAC, PLCs, refrigeration, motors, and gearboxesAbility to read and interpret schematics and blueprintsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including basic electrical circuitsTechnical certification preferredMust provide personal hand tools Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
