Now Hiring:
Maintenance Technician / Handyman We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician (Jack of All Trades) to join our apartment community team. This is a full-time, in-person position for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and enjoys hands-on problem solving.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the apartment community. This includes completing service requests, preparing vacant units for new residents, and assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure the property remains safe, clean, and in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner Perform apartment turns (make-readies) including minor repairs and inspections Light plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, minor leaks) Basic electrical work (outlets, switches, lighting fixtures) Drywall repair and painting HVAC experience is a plus Troubleshoot and repair general maintenance issues Maintain grounds and common areas as needed Follow safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
Reliable transportation Must have your own tools Experience in light plumbing, drywall, and electrical work required HVAC and advanced electrical experience a plus Strong work ethic and self-motivated Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness to learn and take initiative
Qualifications:
Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to respond to occasional after-hours emergencies (if applicable) Professional and respectful communication with residents and team members
