Back To Results Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description Industrial Maintenance Technician - Jefferson, GA Position Summary Mid-level maintenance technician who safely plans and performs all operations necessary to modify, repair and maintain complicated machinery. Duties and Responsibilities Safely and independently adjusts, repairs and maintains mechanical systems; completes some basic electrical system repairs. Utilizing support, maintains conveyors, paint systems and chemical processes. Maintains, performs and reports on preventative maintenance on all plant support equipment. Utilizes drawings, schematics and hydraulic diagrams to evaluate, make recommendations and resolve problems. Interprets and applies a variety of technical instructions. Communicate technical issues to others and evaluate responses in a group setting. Conducts equipment installation (air, gas, rigging) under the support and direction of experienced technicians. Maintains 5S compliant work area. Must certify and maintain certifications to use powered industrial vehicles and overhead cranes. Understands and complies with ISO 9001 and
