Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be the go-to professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our properties. Your expertise will ensure that our work environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills, construction knowledge, and safety awareness to a variety of projects that keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, fixtures, and equipment using power tools and manual tools. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute repair and installation tasks. Conduct erosion control measures and implement safety procedures in accordance with OSHA safety standards during all projects. Assist with heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling tasks while adhering to workplace safety regulations. Repair or replace damaged infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, doors, windows, and other fixtures. Support industrial construction activities by following safety regulations, including respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with team members to ensure the proper implementation of safety protocols and workplace safety standards during all maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience in industrial construction or maintenance roles with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and the implementation of safety regulations on job sites. Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working at heights. Knowledge of erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices. Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and interpreting technical drawings is essential.
