Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician

United Pools is hiring seasonal Pool Maintenance Technicians who are responsible for the overall upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance of the swimming facilities on the All applicants must possess a valid driver's license, pass a background check. Maintenance Team Members are responsible for but not limited to: Upkeep of the swimming facility and pump operations Cleaning of the swimming facility and pump rooms Maintaining pool chemistry within a safe range Keeping chemical logs and records Inventory of chemicals and other supplies Vacuuming/Skimming/Brushing pools Maintaining salt systems/chlorine generators and error diagnostics Small repairs and preventative maintenance Moderate pump and filter maintenance (cartridge and DE filter cleanings, impeller repairs, etc.) Occasional moderate repairs (cartridge and grid changes, spider gasket changes, etc.) Service-route responsibilities Routing and staffing assistance Interacting with customers and patrons on a daily basis in a professional manner Helping service technicians diagnose and solve issues that arise in the field Keeping clear records and communicating with United Pools supervisors

Physical Demands:

Lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly, sit, kneel, stand for long periods, jump, squat, crawl, reach, and drive a vehicle for extended periods, work in summer heat. Nice to have

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working professionally in the swimming pool industry. Legal ability to work in the United States Reliable transportation to work. A working and reliable cell phone. Criminal history must not include theft or violence related convictions. Ability to pass a drug test. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
