Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical (E/M) Maintenance Technician to keep our industrial process equipment running safely and smoothly. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on complex mechanical systems, as well as calibrate advanced process instrumentation and electrical equipment.
What You'll Do Troubleshoot & Repair:
Inspect, test, and dismantle mechanical machinery, drives, motors, and belts using precision tools, hoists, and cranes to repair or replace defective components.
Instrumentation & Calibration:
Calibrate process and lab instrumentation including Mass Flow, Magnetic Flow, Density, Level, Pressure, Temperature, and Weigh Belts.
Electrical Compliance:
Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Mine Safety and Health Act (MSHA) regulations.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine PMs, monitor fluid levels, and replace filters to minimize equipment downtime.
Work Order Management:
Utilize our Tabware maintenance management system to manage work orders, control backlog, and track repairs.
Job Planning & Leadership:
Provide realistic time and cost estimates for projects while mentoring and guiding junior technicians on proper safety procedures. What We're Looking For Proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and instrumentation calibration. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Hands-on proficiency with precision measuring tools, power tools, and electronic/electrical testing devices. Working knowledge of MSHA regulations and NEC standards. Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
