Senoia, GA Job Type:
Full-time (Hourly or Salary)
Shift:
Overnight - 12-hour shift (8 PM to 8 AM)
Shift Differential:
$1.50 per hour for overnight shift
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our large facility in Senoia, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical repair skills, particularly with machinery, and will be more focused on mechanical maintenance than electrical. Our facility runs extrusion processes and utilizes Allen Bradley PLCs, so experience with hydraulics and PLCs is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, focusing on mechanical components. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic systems. Work with Allen Bradley PLCs to ensure smooth operation of equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve overall efficiency and reliability of machinery. Participate in skill testing to assess strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Testing and Evaluation:
The testing process will include a 90-minute skill test to evaluate your mechanical repair abilities. A 30-minute facility tour to familiarize you with our operations.
Requirements:
Strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair. Experience with hydraulic systems and Allen Bradley PLCs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work an overnight shift (8 PM to 8 AM) with a $1.50 shift differential.
