Part-Time Night Pond Maintenance Technician

New School Aquatics is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Night Pond Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining multiple decorative ponds and water features at a commercial property during evening and overnight hours. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable around water and fish, and takes pride in keeping aquatic environments clean and presentable. No prior pond experience is required. Training will be provided for the right individual.

Schedule:

3 to 4 nights per week Approximately 3 to 4 hours per shift Evening and overnight hours

Responsibilities:

Scrub and clean koi ponds and decorative water features Remove algae, debris, leaves, and trash from ponds Monitor fish health and report any concerns Ensure koi and other aquatic life are healthy and thriving Maintain clean and clear water conditions Clean and maintain chlorinated ponds and water features Remove debris and buildup from chlorinated systems Inspect pond equipment and report any issues Follow established maintenance procedures and safety protocols Complete service reports as required

Requirements:

Reliable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors at night Able to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds Able to work independently and follow instructions Strong attention to detail Valid driver's license preferred Previous pond, aquarium, landscaping, maintenance, or custodial experience is a plus but not required

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
