Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on specialized manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and lathes to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Work safely with 480V electrical systems while strictly following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. Perform alignment, calibration, and setup adjustments to ensure machine accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues. Essential Skills 2-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience specifically with CNC machines . Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Hands-on experience working with 480V electrical systems in an industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures. Ability to work comfortably in a production setting with varying noise levels. Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
