Job Description

Maintenance Technician/Machine Operator 1010 10th Street NE, Independence, IA 50644 Full-time Full-time If you are the "handy" person that everyone calls when something needs to be fixed, we want to talk to you! Even if you haven't worked in a maintenance or machine operator position before, you might be just the team member that we are looking for. Job Summary As a full-time Maintenance Technician/Machine Operator, your main tasks will be troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and making necessary repairs on production machines, miscellaneous equipment, and plant facilities. The remainder of your time will be spent setting up and running CNC mills, lathes, routers, and thermoforming equipment to make custom plastic parts. Requirements Applicants must be mechanically inclined, possess problem solving skills, be able to work independently, be organized, and be dependable. The position requires working with technical support on the phone, so clear communication is necessary. While certification in a mechanical or electrical field is appreciated, it is not required. Carpentry skills are a plus. A willingness to learn new things and the ability to communicate respectfully with all team members is essential. •Wages are based on experience and skills.•Why Work With Us Three-day weekends (Production hours are Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM to Thursday 4:30 PM.
