This energetic role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supervising repair projects to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance knowledge, along with leadership experience to oversee maintenance activities efficiently. Your expertise will help us uphold high standards of safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of hotel systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to identify issues early. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various hotel facilities using skills in welding, electrical work, and mechanical troubleshooting. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems accurately. Manage maintenance requests efficiently using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and schedules. Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with contractors when necessary, and ensure all work complies with safety standards. Assist with residential painting projects and other cosmetic repairs to enhance the hotel's appearance. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to evaluate electrical systems' integrity. Lead safety initiatives by training staff on proper equipment use and emergency procedures while maintaining a safe work environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or staff maintenance concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential. Skilled in welding, residential painting, and basic carpentry tasks. Experience supervising or leading a team of technicians or maintenance staff. Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities. Knowledge of safety regulations related to electrical systems, welding, and general facilities upkeep. Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions and reporting. Use of testing tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshooting equipment confidently.
