Top Workplace Award Winner (2024, 2025 & 2026) Position Summary GLMG Hotels is seeking a dependable and service-focused Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds. This position plays an important role in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on guestrooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and work orders. Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs. Inspect hotel facilities and identify repair opportunities. Maintain curb appeal, exterior grounds, and public spaces. Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance as needed. Support life safety inspections and emergency preparedness activities. Work with vendors and contractors on maintenance projects. Maintain maintenance inventories, tools, and supplies. Partner with all hotel departments to support exceptional guest experiences. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or hotel engineering experience preferred. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or carpentry preferred. Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments.
