  • This is a Direct - Hire position Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician
  • Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of facilities and production equipment, plumbing, HVAC, presses, machinery, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Reviews service requests for repair and maintenance, determines the nature of the problem, and solutions to the problem
  • Develops preventative maintenance programs and manages programs
  • Utilizes a wide variety of equipment and tools in the performance of the job
  • Coordinates work of outside contractors
  • Provides work and technical leadership to others who assist
  • Instrumental in the implementation and further development of the company safety program, policies, and procedures
  • Informs manager of any issues or problems that arise within the department or with items that fall under maintenance responsibility Requirements for the Maintenance Technician
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Vocational/technical training or an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain preventative maintenance programs electronically
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance experience
  • Able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform physical tasks in various environmental conditions.
  • Experience with printing equipment, conveyors, ovens, robotics, or automated manufacturing systems.
  • Basic PLC knowledge, including Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or similar platforms.
  • EPA 608 certification or HVAC experience.
  • Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG).
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good electrical knowledge and skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Proficient in Word and Excel. Must possess the ability to manage preventative maintenance programs electronically
  • Good interpersonal skills.
