Maintenance

We are currently seeking a full-time maintenance technician to join our multi-award winning team! Responsibilities vary daily and include assisting with the general upkeep of the hotel. The property features 103 rooms, as well as a pool and hot tub. Training will be provided; however, prior knowledge of basic maintenance tasks is advantageous. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Repairing door locks
• Cleaning and maintaining the pool and spa
• Upkeep of hotel grounds
• Setting up meeting room spaces
• Cleaning and vacuuming carpets as needed
• Maintaining ice machines
• Repairing exercise equipment
• Upkeeping electronics, furniture, and fixtures throughout entire hotel including in guest rooms and bathrooms
• Maintaining lobby, public restrooms, meeting spaces, employee work areas
• Assisting with additional cleaning projects
• Other related tasks as required Effective communication with vendors, external maintenance contractors, fellow maintenance team members, housekeeping, front desk staff, and management is essential.

Organization and clear documentation of completed tasks and upcoming projects are vital to the smooth operation of the hotel. We are seeking a team-oriented and self-motivated individual who is capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to identify tasks that need attention, and takes initiative to see them through. A strong focus on customer service is essential. We value someone who takes pride in completing their work thoroughly and to a high standard.
