We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support our Safety Department and help maintain a strong culture of compliance, accountability, and driver support. Position Summary The Safety & Compliance Coordinator will assist with day-to-day safety and compliance responsibilities, including driver qualification files, DOT records, training documentation, accident and incident tracking, audits, reporting, and communication with drivers and managers. The ideal candidate does not need to have all trucking or DOT experience. We are willing to train the right person who has strong administrative skills, attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to follow regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Assist with maintaining driver qualification files and required DOT documentation Track and organize safety, compliance, and training records Help monitor expiration dates for licenses, medical cards, certifications, annual reviews, and other required documents Support drug and alcohol testing program documentation and follow-up Assist with accident, incident, and workers' compensation documentation Help prepare for audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews Communicate with drivers, managers, dispatch, HR, and other departments as needed Support new driver onboarding from a safety and compliance perspective Help ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed Maintain confidential employee and company records Assist with reports, spreadsheets, data entry, filing, and document management Provide general administrative support to the Safety Department Transferable Skills We Value You may be a great fit if you have experience in any of the following areas: Administrative assistant or office support CDL-A driver looking for at home opportunities Dispatch, trucking, agriculture, logistics, or operations support Insurance, claims, or workers' compensation support Medical office records, compliance, or scheduling Law enforcement, corrections, emergency services, or investigation support Payroll, billing, accounting, or document tracking Customer service with strong follow-through Regulatory, safety, quality control, or compliance-related work Skills that transfer well to this position include: Strong attention to detail Good organization and follow-up Ability to keep accurate records Professional communication Confidentiality and discretion Problem-solving Computer and spreadsheet skills Ability to learn rules, regulations, and company procedures Ability to work well with drivers and team members Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous office, administrative, compliance, safety, HR, dispatch, or transportation experience preferred Strong computer skills, including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Ability to learn

regulations and company safety procedures Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels Trucking, DOT, or safety experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate Work Environment This position works closely with the Safety Department, drivers, management, HR, dispatch, and shop teams.
