Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical functions in conjunction with general maintenance of the facility. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, panels, lighting, and other distribution center equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to resolve issues quickly. Assist with maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and other material-handling equipment. Respond to facility maintenance emergencies to minimize operational downtime. Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, National Electrical Code (NEC), and company policies. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and digital work orders. Perform light welding and fabrication as needed for equipment repairs (training provided).
