Job Description

Compensation is based in experience. The maintenance tech position at the Bronze Buffalo Ranch reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Key to this role is performing multiple tasks to ensure a great experience for our guests. Job duties will focus on the maintenance of the lodge suites, cabins, and condos. Key to being successful in this position is teamwork. This individual will ensure the suites and vacation rental properties are in pristine condition as well as ensuring a high level of guest and homeowner satisfaction. A key part of their job is to communicate with team members both in maintenance and throughout the property.
Essential Functions:
  • Basic repairs to interior and exterior suites, buildings, and vacation rental homes (i.e., painting, changing lights bulbs, filters, etc.)
  • Maintain walkways, driveways, etc.
  • Snow and leaf removal.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, etc.
  • Collect trash from cabins
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance in homes
  • Assist housekeeping when needed Report and document damages Collaborate closely with their manager follow through on assigned projects.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electronic repairs including but not limited to: Reset Wi-Fi routers and modems Reset and program cable and satellite TV receivers Perform light plumbing and painting repairs Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties Work closely with other departments and vendors to schedule and supervise subcontracted work as needed Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Record billable items and hours to be billed to guests and/or owners for work orders Property Maintenance • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of buildings, grounds, homes, units, and other properties are maintained.
Vehicle Operate company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and professional manner Obey all traffic and local driving laws Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle Abide by the Company Car Policy Report any maintenance issues and/or accidents immediately Team
  • Follow all policies, procedures, guidelines, safety regulations, etc.
  • Understand and share with staff the Bronze Buffalo Culture and Cowboy Code
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. Work on the vacation homes and buildings both indoors and outdoors is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and skills Required
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • 1+ years in maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proactive and flexible in approach to job duties and problem-solving
  • Ability to exercise good judgement
  • Oral and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer/guest focus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel with hands and arms. This position will require walking and standing for periods of time throughout the day on uneven surfaces and/or across company property and into homes. This position can be very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing for extended periods of time during the day. The employee may have to reach above shoulder height or below the waist or lift as required to file or store materials throughout the day. Proper lifting techniques are required. The individual must be able to lift and/or move items over 75 lbs. $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
