Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic Aurora, IL GL Precision Tube Inc. is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a mechanically strong maintenance professional who is comfortable troubleshooting and repairing industrial production equipment. Pay $29.00-$33.00/hour Pay based on experience
Schedule Monday-Friday:
5:00 AM-5:00
PM Saturday:
5:00 AM-12:00
PM Sunday:
Optional What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues Conduct routine inspections and identify worn or damaged components Repair or replace malfunctioning machinery and equipment Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems Assist with facility improvements and maintenance projects Ensure equipment is maintained safely and meets OSHA requirements Work with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating efficiently What We're Looking For 1-2+ years of industrial maintenance or equipment repair experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with hydraulic systems preferred Some electrical troubleshooting experience required Ability to operate hand, power, and specialized tools Ability to troubleshoot equipment and respond effectively to breakdowns Strong problem-solving skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Safety-conscious and dependable Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
