MAINTENANCE
TECHNICIAN IN BLOOMINGDALE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bloomingdale, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for being the person the floor calls when a bagger jams, a cartoner goes down, a shrink wrapper is out of sync, or a printer stops coding. This role covers the full range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic work across a busy copacking environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on packaging or manufacturing maintenance experience, strong electrical skills, and more listed below. Apply online and kickstart your career today! Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $30/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Schedule TBD Located in Bloomingdale, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Execute scheduled PM plans on baggers, cartoners, bundle wrappers, shrink wrappers, and coding systems including lubrication, belt and chain inspections, sensor checks, and mechanical wear assessments Monitor equipment performance trends to catch issues early and maintain accurate records in the CMMS Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on rotary baggers, cartoning machines, shrink and bundle wrappers, and related high-speed packaging equipment Troubleshoot electrical faults on 12-48V DC and 110-480V AC systems including drives, starters, relays, sensors, and PLC-controlled systems Repair and maintain CIJ and thermal transfer coding equipment including printhead cleaning, ink system troubleshooting, and encoder or trigger faults Service pneumatic and hydraulic systems including solenoid valves, cylinders, pumps, regulators, and pressure circuits Support installation of new equipment and assist with line changeovers including mechanical adjustments, format part swaps, and power and control wiring Read and work from OEM manuals, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings Follow Lockout/Tagout and all OSHA safety requirements on every job. Report unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager immediately Requirements and Qualifications Hands-on packaging or manufacturing maintenance experience with high-speed automated equipment Strong electrical skills including reading schematics, tracing circuits, and repairing control components Working knowledge of PLCs for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar) Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. CIJ coding equipment experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office and a CMMS for PM tracking and work order documentation Reliable and self-directed with the ability to work with urgency when a line is down English required.
