We are currently seeking a dependable, motivated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining dealership buildings, grounds, and equipment across our Central Illinois locations. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping facilities operating at their best, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform routine building maintenance and preventative maintenance. Complete general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic HVAC maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair facility issues in a timely manner. Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance, including landscaping and snow removal as needed. Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues. Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized repairs are required. Ensure dealership facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Maintain maintenance records and follow all company safety procedures. Travel between dealership locations as needed. Qualifications Previous commercial or facility maintenance experience preferred. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
