Work Location:
605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Work Schedule:
3pm - 3am or 3am - 3pm, some OT as workload requires
Pay:
Starting pay at least $26.00 per hour based on experience/ skills Maintenance Technician conducts proactive machine maintenance, shared machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service to ensure optimum productivity of equipment.
Skills needed for role:
Maintenance experience in mailing, packing machines/production machines. Technical knowledge of high-speed production equipment, mechanical/electrical equipment. Production maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficient with internet research, MS Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to operate a PC.
What you will be doing:
Provides proactive support in maintaining production equipment, helping to ensure that production machines are operating at optimum levels. Service and work on high-speed production equipment, mechanical and electrical equipment, with some computer operations. Works in a team-oriented environment to achieve productivity goals. Performs emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Shares set up responsibilities with operators on equipment for scheduled production runs. Use your mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Must become knowledgeable with operating system computers on each production machine. Support all production needs as necessary including operating equipment, relieving breaks and lunches and leading and assisting on line changeovers. Reads and interprets equipment manuals, Job tickets and work orders to perform required jobs /maintenance and service. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. Focus on safety and urgency while supporting production.
Work Environment:
Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility
Physical Demands:
Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment
