Job Description

job summary: Industry-leading manufacturer in the Kankakee area seeks a Maintenance Technician to participate in all electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities within the facility. You should have industrial electric and industrial automation
  • PLC, HMI, etc
  • experience. This is a financially strong company with competitive pay, outstanding benefits, and family culture. Rotating 12s on a 4-on/4-off schedule. Relocation assistance available!
  • 2 or 4 year degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering prefered Two years of electrical maintenance experience. Experience with PLC's, VFD's, and controls location: BOURBONNAIS, Illinois job type: Permanent salary: $80,000
  • 120,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities:
  • Developing the necessary knowledge and tools to successfully maintain and improve the equipment and processes of our division
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mill equipment including, but not limited to: AC/DC drive units, PLC's, HMI's, and overhead cranes
  • Providing support to the maintenance and operations team
  • Developing and promoting safe work practices for maintaining plant equipment
  • Applying technical knowledge to solve problems with plant equipment
  • Taking care of our customers by executing the division's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives qualifications: Experience level:
