Part-Time Maintenance Team Member

Job Description:

Villa Verde Condominium Association is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team and to assist with the upkeep and general maintenance of our residential community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of all buildings, common areas, and mechanical systems.
• Complete maintenance requests and general repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting , andassist other trades as needed.
• Complete all maintenance requests/work orders.
• Ensure proper functioning of lighting, elevators, heating systems, plumbing, sump pumps, safety equipment, etc.
• Ensure mechanical, electrical, boiler rooms, storage spaces, Association garage, etc. are kept neat, clean, organized, and safe.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed.
• Assist with pool maintenance, snow removal and salting during seasonal periods.
• Availability for evening and weekend emergency on-call two weeks out of the month

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong electrical experience (licensed or near licensing preferred), including troubleshooting and low-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and ability to safely diagnose issues.
• Proficient in plumbing repairs (leaks, valves, drain systems, basic piping).
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, carpentry and building repairs (doors, drywall, trim, light construction).
• Ability to safely operate heavy machinery and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, kneel, climb ladders, etc., and work safely using proper PPE.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to provide timely and accurate reports

Pay:

$30-34/hr commensurate with experience
