Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and infrastructure operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and possesses a passion for problem-solving and hands-on maintenance work. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, kitchen appliances, and other building systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repair and installation tasks for various commercial appliances including kitchen equipment and refrigeration units. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, prioritizing safety and operational continuity. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, parts used, and scheduled maintenance activities in compliance with operational standards. Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing mechanical support and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing mechanical systems and equipment maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC & appliance technology manuals. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Service technician experience with appliance installation and troubleshooting across various appliances. Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices to ensure efficient facility management. Ability to operate construction tools safely and contribute effectively during building upgrades or renovations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and vendors. Leadership qualities that enable guidance during team projects or training sessions related to equipment repair or safety procedures.
