Job Description

Job description We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing equipment and perform maintenance tasks of great variety. The maintenance technician is a professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. Experience is not required but preferred. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance of mechanical equipment, Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace drives, motor, light fixtures, contactors, etc.) Assist in the Installation and setup of new manufacturing equipment Repair and maintenance of older equipment. Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Comfortable with ladders and working from heights Ability to learn use of forklifts, scissor lifts, high jackers, and man lifts Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime High school diploma or equivalent; Some technical training in Industrial technology or on the job experience Experience in a manufacturing environment

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
