Advanced Machinist Benefits & Compensation Extra $1.00/hour for 2nd shift; extra $2.00/hour for 3rd shift Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term disability and life insurance 10 paid holidays and generous PTO Quarterly gainsharing bonuses 401(k) with matching and profit sharing Overtime and double time pay Advanced Machinist Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 6+ years machining experience (mill, lathe, saw, or boring machines) with large steel forgings Ability to communicate in English Proficiency with tape measures Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs Advanced Machinist Preferred Background & Skills CNC (mill or lathe) experience MDI experience OSHA or machining certifications Advanced Machinist Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operate overhead crane for machine loading and unloading Layout and plan cut paths; determine proper tooling Monitor machining process, adjusting feeds and speeds as needed Manage chip production and maintain a clean work area, including sweeping and shoveling Measure finished pieces using rulers, pi tape, dial indicators, and calipers Complete required documentation in paper or electronic format Follow all company safety policies and procedures If you are an experienced machinist seeking a long-term role with a global leader and a supportive, safety-focused team, we encourage you to apply.
