As a Facilities Tech, you'll take ownership of facility upkeep—from cleaning and general maintenance to grounds care and specialized support like HVAC, custodial, or recycling programs. You may coordinate day-to-day tasks for a crew, estimate resources, track progress, and ensure work is completed efficiently. What You Will Do Work Order Coordination:
Plan, assign, and oversee staff and vendors for facility services, including office moves, furniture setup, cleaning, inspections, grounds care, and waste disposal. Provide hands-on guidance and training on equipment, materials, and safety procedures. Ensure work meets quality, safety, and budget standards. Serve as a technical resource and point of contact for managers and internal stakeholders.
Vendor Management:
Assist with vendor selection by developing specs, evaluating bids, and ensuring contract compliance. Oversee vendor performance to ensure work is completed properly, on time, and meets regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Procedures:
Maintain documentation and procedures related to work orders. Recommend process improvements and submit reports on project and work order status.
Facilities Maintenance:
Perform routine facility and grounds inspections, cleaning, and supply upkeep. Handle waste disposal and recycling; conduct minor preventative maintenance and lawn care. Complete internal customer requests, including moving furniture and basic cleaning or maintenance tasks.
What You Will Bring Education:
High school diploma required; Technical certificate preferred.
Experience:
2+ years in a related role.
Skills:
Experience using basic power tools and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer Service Orientation:
Drive to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Results Driven Mindset:
Ability to follow through on assignments and make a positive contribution to the company through high impact activities.
Flexibility and Adaptability:
Ability to deal with change and adapt to a changing environment. Attention to

Focus on providing accurate work and avoiding errors. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Compensation:
The expected base pay range for this role is $18 - $21 an hour + a 15% shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
