Job Description
Description Job Summary The Sign Shop Technician is responsible for designing, producing, organizing, and installing promotional signage and marketing materials for a beer distribution company. This role supports sales and brand marketing efforts by creating high-quality point-of-sale displays, banners, pricing signs, and promotional materials for retail accounts, bars, restaurants, and special events. Key Responsibilities Design, print, cut, and assemble signs, banners, posters, and promotional displays. Operate sign-making equipment including large-format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and mounting tools. Maintain inventory of sign materials, supplies, and promotional items. Prepare and organize marketing materials for delivery routes and sales representatives. Install signage and displays at customer locations when needed. Ensure all signage follows supplier brand standards and company guidelines. Assist with warehouse organization and cleanup of sign shop area. Perform basic maintenance on sign equipment and report repair needs. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams on promotional campaigns and deadlines. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sign production, graphic printing, or related field is a plus. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software preferred. Ability to operate printers, vinyl cutters, and hand tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license may be required. Skills & Abilities Time management and ability to meet deadlines. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Creative problem-solving and basic design ability. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
