Facilities Maintenance Technician I
  • Crane Technician (2nd Shift) East Peoria, IL Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM $20
  • 24 hour DOE + Shift Differential Full-Time | Overtime Available Looking for a mechanically inclined career?
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical problems, and learning new skills, this could be the opportunity for you. We're looking for a dependable Crane Technician to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on overhead cranes in a manufacturing environment. This is NOT a crane operator position . You'll be maintaining and servicing cranes to help keep production running safely and efficiently. A Day in the Life Your day will include: Performing preventive maintenance (PMs) on overhead cranes Inspecting crane components for wear and potential issues Assisting with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting Using hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks Documenting completed work in the maintenance system Working alongside experienced technicians while continuing to grow your skills Following all safety procedures and keeping your work area clean
Requirements:
What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Dependable with excellent attendance Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights when required Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment is a plus Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required Benefits That Support Your Future At MMS, we believe in taking care of our employees both on and off the job.
