Tractor Test Technician Maintenance Technician II East Peoria, IL | 2nd Shift (2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM) $31.00
  • $35.00/hour + 4% Shift Differential PTO & Paid Holidays Start Day One
  • No Waiting Period! Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions (MMS) is seeking a Tractor Test Technician
  • Maintenance Technician II to support specialized tractor testing and production equipment in East Peoria, IL.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined professional with strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, controls, sensors, electrical systems, and automated equipment . As a Tractor Test Technician, you will independently perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and system upgrades on tractor test cells and other production-critical equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. A Day in the Life Your shift begins by reviewing equipment status and maintenance priorities. Throughout the day, you'll troubleshoot electrical and control system issues, repair test equipment, calibrate instruments, and perform preventive maintenance on specialized systems including test cells, leak detection equipment, barcode scanners, particle counters, and ultrasonic receivers. You'll work closely with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment running safely and efficiently while identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
Requirements:
What You'll Bring 3+ years of maintenance, electrical, controls, or industrial troubleshooting experience Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and control systems Knowledge of sensors, instrumentation, PLCs, and automated equipment preferred Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Why MMS?
