•IMMEDIATE START Maintenance Technician | Injection Molding Equipment & Production Support (Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Injection molding production equipment and plant systems in a plastics manufacturing environment.)

Role Summary:

Randstad USA is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for a plastics manufacturing facility in Elgin, IL. This direct-hire position supports production by maintaining Injection-molding equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Mechanical and Electrical experience required. Responsibilities Insure the upkeep of the injection molding facility. Maintain preventive maintenance programs on all molding and support equipment. Keep and update accurate maintenance records on all equipment and facility. Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Maintenance. Must be able to interact and communicate with all departments and machine manufactures services technicians. Ensure a smooth running, well maintained facility. Minimize downtime due to machine or equipment failure. Provides clear and accurate records of maintenance activities performed. Mechanical and Electrical experience required 2nd shift, 2pm 11:30 p.m., Monday

Friday Requirements:

High School education or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatics. Must posses a basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints. Must understand all support equipment associated with injection molding. (Thermolators, Spru Pickers, robots, Grinders, etc.) Lift up to 30 lbs. Must have own basic tools
