Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, honest, reliable, and well organized Building Maintenance Person "Engineer" to help take care of a 16 story residential condo building in beautiful downtown Evanston, IL. REQUIRED SKILLS
Building maintenance skills Good understanding of building systems Plumbing maintenance knowledge Good leak tracking skills General electrical knowledge General HVAC knowledge General mechanical knowledge Good drywall repair & painting skills Basic computer skills (Send emails, texts, comp documents) Excellent organization and communication skills Must live within 30-45 minutes of building (Low traffic times)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform building inspections Monitor mechanical systems Take care of assigned work orders Communicate with and assist property manager Building preventative maintenance Weekly maintenance reports Swimming pool testing & care Schedule and assists vendors and other service personnel Direct janitorial staff & assign additional tasks as needed Order supplies and maintain inventory Assist with larger janitorial projects Pressure washing Carpet Cleaning Door closer and lock adjustments or replacement Replace light bulbs Maintain emergency signs and lighting Snow removal Emergency calls
