The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various systems and equipment within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, including inspections and repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Fabricate parts as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Conduct electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. Supervise maintenance staff as required, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics. Assist with residential painting projects when necessary. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred. Experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical and plumbing work. Ability to fabricate components for machinery repair or enhancement. Excellent supervisory skills to lead a team effectively. Proficient in English for clear communication with team members and management. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
