Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining maintenance of the production machinery and warehouse, in addition to other maintenance and miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist with day-to-day operations of facility and maintain warehouse in a safe and organized manner Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment Perform preventative maintenance on machinery Assist with calibration and maintenance of various machinery Knowledge of low to medium voltage power systems Perform general repairs in the areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC Operate pallet jack, scissor and boom lifts, forklift and climb ladders to access elevated areas and rooftop when required Drive and operate company vehicles Respond to emergencies during off hours such as weekends, holidays and evenings Other miscellaneous duties as required Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job. Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be a team player and have good attendance
- Must have knowledge of production equipment, controlled environments and critical systems
- Must have knowledge of facilities operations, physical plant, safety and security, and fire protection systems
- Must be able to understand blueprints, drawings and schematics
- Must be able to climb and work at elevations
- Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
- Must take direction, follow instruction and work with others with a positive attitude
- Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English with the level of competency that will permit the applicant to function in the position.
