The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain and repair electrical systems, conveyor systems, other machinery, equipment and facilities to support production and business function requirements and complete any planned maintenance when scheduled.
Responsibilities:
Machinery Maintenance- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on the conveyor system and other machinery and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor system and other machinery and equipment. Facilities Maintenance
- Install upgrades on new machinery/equipment as required. Perform PM/change out on lighting, HVAC components, plumbing repair. Assemble and repair carts, shelving, tables and other building projects. Safety
- Demonstrate safe work habits including use of safety equipment, lockout/tag out procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment, appropriate use of parts handling equipment and methods, correct disposal of waste and notification of hazardous conditions. Documentation
- Fully and accurately complete all required departmental documentation. Support Maintenance, Production
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support maintenance and production. May include, but not limited to, upkeep of maintenance crib and remote storage, periodic rack repair and construction. Housekeeping
- Participate along with other employees to keep areas within the warehouse clean.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency Valid driver's licenseQualification Requirements:
Ability to perform electrical installations and repairs ranging from low voltage DC up to three phase 480volts AC and the ability to interpret electrical schematics. Technical training or equivalent experience preferred. Must have solid mechanical aptitude and experience preferably with conveyor systems and the ability to read blueprints. Must have basic construction knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Good communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels. Ability to lift 70 lbs. Must be willing to operate elevated lift equipment at heights.Pay Rate:
The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. $21- $23 per hour + incentives
