Job Description

Facilities Technician Basic Purpose of the
Position:
This position will be directly responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable work environment. This role performs preventative maintenance, responds to maintenance requests, supports facility projects, and helps ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Complete job tasks to provide the highest level of opportunity for our Physical Assets to achieve maximum efficiency for our customers. Exceptional Customer Service Required. Efficiently and effectively communicate with customers, teammates, and supervision of job assignments, continuous improvement ideas, and critical asset opportunities. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general maintenance issues. Conduct inspections of facility assets to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions. Repair doors, locks, lighting systems, flooring, walls, ceilings, and other building components. Maintain facility appearance and functionality through proactive maintenance activities. Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs on facility equipment and systems. Document work order completion with all required information for sustainability of Asset Reliability. Job tasks can include maintaining, inspecting, repairing all Assets.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
We are seeking an individual with a desire to learn, grow, and provide fanatical customer service to our Production Team. 0
  • 1 year of work experience in the maintenance environment or equivalent work experience and education.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Reading and understanding engineering drawings and BOM's required Use and understanding of various measuring devices, common to support the equipment used in our production processes. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Can deal with conflict in a positive manner Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems desired.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Primarily works at ground level, by requires periodic working at up to 40 feet. May require working on ladders or manlifts. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds at some frequency. Requires good mechanical hand coordination and cognitive abilities. Ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat, cold, noise, and dust. Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations outside normal work hours when necessary.
Performance Measures:
Preventative maintenance completion on-time rate. Work Order response and completion times. Safety compliance and incident reduction. Customer satisfaction and service quality. Accuracy and completeness of maintenance documentation.
