This role supports production operations by minimizing downtime through timely maintenance and repairs. The technician maintains accurate records, adheres to safety regulations, and collaborates effectively with team members and other departments. Responsibilities Perform routine but diversified maintenance tasks Install and maintain production machines and the plant's facility equipment Diagnose problems, repair and replace parts, test and make adjustments Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities Assist in the inspection and troubleshooting of equipment to identify issues Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Vocational training or certification in relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC) preferred 1-3 years of experience in general maintenance or related field Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety practices Basic proficiency with hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret simple diagrams and manuals Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems
